To begin with, We select your Hawaiian Pineapples right off the legendary Hawaiian Dole plantation that thrive off of the inriched soil and decomposed lava ash which make these the sweetest and jusiest pineapples in the world. Our hand picked pineapples are delivered direct to you plump and fresh looking. Fresh, green leaves in the crown are a good sign when we pick your special Hawaiian pineapple order. The body should be firm – not soft. The larger the Hawaiian pineapple, the greater proportion of edible fruit. But, That doesn’t mean necessarily that it is better tasting or any riper than smaller fruit.
Skin color is not necessarily a sign of maturity or ripeness. A pineapple can be ripe when it is practically all green outside. Here at the plantation we call it "green-shell ripe."
